a, (S. & M.) Boundless, endless, eternal, infinite; (an epithet of God);—s. m. A cord with fourteen knots or a bracelet of silver or gold, which the Hindus tie on their right arm on the fourteenth lunar day (of full-moon) of Bhádoṇ, which is sacred to Vishnú and called Anaṇt chaudas or Anaṇt chaudeṇ.
