a, Defective, mean, of low caste or rank, menial, base;—s. m. An abject person, a menial, a menial servant, people of low caste; a village servant of the six classes, i. e., Mirásí, sweeper, potter, cobbler, water bearer, barber, dhobí,—kamíṉ káṇdú, s. m. The same as Kamíṉ:—Kamíṉ puṉá, s. m. Meanness, baseness, low rank, menial condition.
