s. f, goldsmith's crucible or small nest like vessel:—kuthálí gálṉí, v. a. To melt metal in a crucible; met. to destroy utterly:—kuṭhálí páuṉí, v. n. To put into a crucible:—kuṭhálí pai nikalṉá, v. n. To be found pure, to be tried or examined, to pass through the furnace, to be experienced.
