s. m. (M.), ) A log of wood, especially a log tied round an animal's neck to prevent it from straying; a log used for lining the interior of a well:—gaṭ dá khú, s. m. A well lined with logs:—gaṭ gaṭ karke pí jáṉá, v. n. To drink without taking breath.
