s. m. (K.), ) goiter, a plant (Pennisetum Italicum); i. q. Kaṇgṉí:—gal dá hár, s. m. lit. A necklace, a child who always clings to his mother's skirt; an encumbrance:—gal dá hár hoṉá, v. n. To pursue one persistently:—gal galáwáṇ paiṉá, v. n. lit. To fasten a halter in the neck; to be yoked together; to incur responsibility, or a debt or liability:—galghoṭú, s. m. Any thing drawn so tight around the neck as to choke; the sensation of choking;—a. Choky (spoken of that by taking which the sensation of choking is produced):—gal ghoṭú áuṉá, v. n.
