s. f, mall beads strung in a cord tied round the neck of boys and men; a string of coloured cord or of goat's hair, with large cowries attached, tied round the necks of horses, bullocks and donkeys as an ornament:—gore ḍáṇd gal ghattáṇ gáníáṇ; kaḍháṇ poṭhí, Gáman yár, chaṛhiá waṇjáṇ Jiháníáṇ.
