s. m, large mass or quantity of anything prepared at once (especially guṛ); a bundle of canes of sizes made up to be put in the sugar press at once; as much as is thrown at one time into a mill or a frying pan; a baking; material (as in a factory); abundance, profuseness; a profusion of blood-shed in battle, great slaughter; (c. w. latthṉá):—gháṉ páuṉá, v. a. To throw into a frying pan:—gháṉ utarná, v. n. To be taken out of a frying pan; c. w. michná, ubharná.
