s. m, swallow, what may be swallowed at once, a draught, sultriness; an imperative of v. n. Ghuṭṭṉá:—lahú dá ghuṭṭ bhar or kar chhaḍḍṉá, v. n. To have forbearance, to leave off idea of vengeance:—lahú dá ghuṭṭ píṉá, v. n. lit. To drink a draught of blood; to take revenge, to injure one's enemy:—lahú de ghuṭṭ de tiháe hoṉá, v. n. lit. To be thirsty of a draught of blood; to be blood-thirsty; to be anxious to take revenge from or to injure or ruin one's enemy:—ghuṭṭá or ghuṭṭo waṭṭí kháṉí, v. n. To eat and drink alternately, i. e., to drink with every mouthful of food.
