ਜਡਾ

JAḌÁ

Meaning in English2

s. m. (M.), ) A man with a broken leg, a lame person, also used of a person who has lost any limb:—jaḍe te káne dí hikk rag wádhú huṇdí hai. The lame and the one-eyed have one vein more than other people.—Prov. This is like the general belief that the loss of one sense quickens the perception of the others.
