One of the same caste or tribe:—ját bharishṭ hoṉá, v. n. to spoil one's caste; to be polluted, to be corrupted:—ját bharishṭ karná, v. a. To pollute, to seduce, to be seduced, to corrupt:—ját bhát, ját bháṇt s. f. Caste and kind, pedigree:—ját karm, s. m. The business of one's caste, the conduct of one's caste:—ját pát, s. f. Caste and dignity, caste and honour:—ját safát, s. f. Caste and character, natural qualities, good pedigree combined with good personal qualities:—ját pát púchhe nahíṇ ko, Har ko bhaje so Har ká ho. No one asks the caste and dignity but he who worships Harí, becomes of Harí.
