s. f, Corrupted from the Persian word Zich. Trouble, perplexity, worry, mental perturbation:—jichch hoṉá, v. n. To be troubled, to be worried, to be at a loss, to fret; to be teased and annoyed; to be baffled, to be rendered helpless:—jichch karná, v. a. To tease, to trouble, to anger; to defeat:—jichch paiṉá, v. n. To be teased, to be annoyed, to be troubled, to know not what to do:—jichch pichch, a. Vexed, perturbed. annoyed:—jichch rahiṉá, v. n. To remain in a perturbed and fretful state of mind, to be at one's wit's ends; to be in a dilemma.
