s. m, Life; livelihood:—jíuṉ búṭí, s. f. A bush fabled to have life-giving properties; the plant of life, i. e., wheat and other eatable grain; those who are enslaved by their appetites call their favourite source of gratification their jíuṉ búṭí; whatever a man cannot refrain from is called his jíuṉ búṭí:—jíuṉhár, jíuṉhárá, a. Living, animate, possessing the power of vitality:—jíuṉpáí, s. f. Life, more life; destiny, recovery after severe illness; i. q. Jíwaṉ.
