a. (M.), ) first-rate; early (of crops):—jeṭṭhá putt, puttar, s. m. First born son:—jeṭh jeṭṭhá, Háṛh pichhá, Sáwaṉ werjehá kehá. Cotton sown in Jeṭh is first-rate, that sown in Háṛh is late, and that sown in Sáwaṉ is third rate.
