ad, Corrupted from the Sanskrit word Yádush. As such as, as in like manner:—jaisá cháho. As you please:—jaisá cháhíye. lit. As it should be; effectually, thoroughly:—jaise hosakke, ad. Any how, at any rate:—jaise ko taisá. As you were, tit for tat.
