s. m, forest, a wood, a jungle, a desert, a forest land, any uncultivated ground; grazing ground:—jaṇgal jáṉá, v. n. lit. To roam in the woods; to ease oneself:—jaṇgal wichch maṇgal hoṉá, v. n. lit. To be in a extacy in a desert.—Prov. Used, when in most unlikely places, or under most unpromising circumstances, something desirable is found or done.
