s. f. m, The cord with which the bottom of a bedstead is tightened; the foot or declivity of a mountain; the skirts of a coat; a rope tied to a horse's feet to keep him from running away:—dáuṉ laggṉá, v. a. To take hold of one's skirts, (i. e., to seek protection.)
