s. m, branch, a bough; issue:—auráṇ dá kuchh rahe gá par kámí dá ḍál ná múl. lit. Others will leave something behind, but the adulterer will leave neither a branch nor a root (i.e. nothing).—Prov. used to express bad results of adultery.
