s. m, crook used for pulling down the branches of trees, for goats, sheep and camels;—(Pot., M.) A rope, a cord with which a cow's legs are tied to prevent her kicking when milked; (i. q. Niáṉá):—múṇg ghane, til patle dedar ṭáp juár; hálí uh saráhiye jo ḍháṇge seṭe wár. Sow múṇg thick, sesamum thin, juár at a frog's jump; praise the ploughman who throws cotton seeds in at a rope's length.—Prov.
