s. f, yellow mineral drug used for medical purposes and painting; artemisia elegans. This plant has a very wide range of growth, being found up in the Himalaya, and abounding in many parts of the Panjab plains, especially in the arid desert tracts. Its branches appear to be officinal in the Panjab, their smoke being considered good for burns, and their infusion is given as depurative.
