s. m, Corruption of the Persian word Namdah. A thick felt especially made in Peshawar, Kabul, &c.:—namdá buddh, a., s. f. A weak understanding; having a weak understanding, incapable of learning, stupid. (there are three grades of intellect, i. e., namdá buddh, chamdá buddh, telíá buddh).
