s. m. (M.), ) A branch of a tree with the thick end buried in the ground and the smaller branches cut down to stumps. To the thick part the churning apparatus is tied during churning, and on the stumps are hung the milk vessels after being cleaned, to dry and air. A Nahilá may be seen outside almost any house.
