s. f, mother's mother, a maternal grandfather:—nánní sufṉe áuṉe, nánní yád áuṉí, v. n. lit. To recollect one's maternal grandmother in dream; to be hard pressed, to be at one's wit's ends:—nánní khasm kítá duhte núṇ chaṭṭí paí. The grandmother married and her grandson (daughter's son) was fined.—Prov. used of an innocent person who suffers for the evil action of another.
