NAKKÍ

s. f, ne of the four corners of the figure used in the game called Nakkí púr, after counting the cowṛís, by fours if only one remains it is called nakkí; a bamboo or tin tube:—nakkí púr, s. m. A game played with cowṛís:—nakkí muṭṭh, s. f. The name of game, (í. q. Nakkí púr) the hand filled with cowṛís which is placed in the centre of the figure.
