f. (M.), ) Khatran country. A 12 hours' flow of water what in a Tank and Chandwan is called a Wehal:—pakkí roṭí, s. f. Cooked bread:—pakkí karná, pakáuṉá, v. a. To strengthen, to support, to ratify; to settle (a matter) to make sure, to take a bond; to demonstrate, to substantiate; to authenticate, to confirm, to corroborate:—pakká karná, v. a. To stew after basting:—pakkí pakáí, a. Cooked (bread); met. ready (a business):—pakká plastar, s. m. Plaster made of lime or compost:—pakkí íarkárí, s. f. Fruits:—pikkí khetí wekh ke kiuṇ bhullá karsáṉ, jhakkhaṛ jholá wá aṇdherí, ghar áwe á jáṉ. A farmer should not be proud of his ripened standing crop, he should only be sure of it, if it escapes the expected storms and rains and is stored in his house.—Prov.
