s. m, bag of money containing one thousand Rupees;—(M.) The name of a month (from the middle of August to the middle of September):—Proverb.—Badrá de piṇḍ te Katiṇh dá chhá bare dá cháh. To eat dates in Badrá, or drink buttermilk in Katik, is to court fever.
