s. m, Corrupted from the Hindi word Bárah. Twelve:—báráṇ darí, s. f. A house having twelve doors, a summer house:—báráṇ siṇggá, s. m, A stag, an antelope:—báráṇ tálá, a. Very deceitful, utterly untrustworthy, knavish:—báráṇ patthar, s. m. The bounds of a cantonment.
