s. m, shrub (Viburnum cotinifolium, Nat. Ord. Caprifoliaceæ) which grows abundantly in the Panjab Himalaya, and in various parts of the Suleman Range, Trans-Indus. Its ripe fruit is sweetish and is eaten in many places. It forms the underwood of Himalyan forests in valleys. The wood is only used as firewood.
