s. m, be addicted to hunting and eating wild pigs, and therefore avoided by Muhammadans. Their birth, marriage and death customs partly resemble those of Hindus, but they bury their dead instead of cremating them. They live in grass-huts near river-banks and in jungles, where they can follow their favourite pursuit of hunting:—do jhugge mahtamáṇ de te náṇ Khairpur. Only two huts of Mahtams, and calls itself Khairpur.—Prov.
