MAHÁṈÚ

s. m, preparation of the pulse called Máṇh (Phaseolus radiatus) seasoned with dried unripe mangoes (ambákhṛí) or green mangoes or a preparation of pomegranate seeds (Anárdáná) with other spices. This is a favourite dish with the hill men, but is not often cooked by Panjabis.
