s. m. (M.), ) To be contained in. Present participle: máṇdá; Future: másáṇ; Past participle: máná:—chúhá ná máwe khaḍḍ te kuchchhaṛ baddhe chhajj. There was not room for the mouse in his hole, and he has tied a winnowing basket under his foreleg!—Prov. used of persons who unnecessarily increase the difficulties of a difficult situation:—míṇh wass Phaggan Chetar, ná ghar máwe ná khetar. If it rain (late) in Phaggan and Chet, neither house nor field will contain the produce.
