s. m, eer; a wild animal:—mirg chhálá, s. m. A deer skin worn and used as bedding by Hindu devotees by whom it is held sacred:—mirg ráj, s. m. (lit. the king of wild beasts). A lion:—mirg nainá, mirg wargí akkh, s. m. f. Having eyes like a deer, fawn-eyed:—mirg tarishná, s. m. The mirage:—mirg tarishná dá jal, s. f. The water of the mirage; delusion of Máyá.
