s. m, God; an epithet of Vishnu a precious gem:—mukaṇd bábrí, s. m. A plant (Eclipta erecta, Nat. Ord. Compositœ) abundant all over the plains in moist places. The plant is used medicinally being considered cooling; i. q. Bhaṇgrá:—múkaṇd bábrí, s. f. A plant (Ajuga Bracteata, Nat. Ord. Labiatœ) which is found in the Punjab Himalaya and in the Salt Range. In the Salt Range it is used to kill lice. The plant is used medicinally, being considered depurative.
