s. f, proot; the fusiform receptacle of a many-seeded fruit, as, of the Artocarpus anona brought from the hills:—múslí siyáh, or kálí míslí, s. m. The root of a, tree (Anilema tuberosa, Nat. Ord. Commelynaceæ) which is considered astringent and tonic:—múslí sembal, s. m. The root of Bambax heptaphyllum, Nat. Ord. Bombaceæ:—múslí sufaid, s. m. The root of a tree (Asparagus filicínus, A. curillus, A racemosa, Nat. Ord. Liliaceæ) which is considered tonic and astringent.
