s. m. (K.), ) A handsome small evergreen (Dodonœa Burmanniana Nat. Ord. Sapindaceæ) well suited for hedges, for which it is often used. It is common in Trans-Indus, and occurs frequently in the Salt Range. Its branches are tough, and used by the people in the east to put under the earth of their roofs. The leaves are hard and dry, and only eaten by cattle when very hungry; i. q. Miraṇdú.
