MAṆGRÚR
Meaning in English2
s. m, ll grass (Panicum antidotale, P. Mavimum, Nat. Ord Gramineæ) common in many parts of the Panjab plains and Siwalik tract. In some places it is said to be good forage for cattle; in others it is called bitter and is not relished, and this seems more likely. Near Lahore, the smoke of it is used to fumigate wounds.
