To accept or ask advice:—ráhoṇ korá honá, v. n. To go astray:—ráh márná, v. a. To rob or plunder on the highway:—ráh rábatá, s. m. Intercourse, correspondence:—ráh wekhṉá, v. a. To look out for one, to wait one's coming:—ráh ráh nál, ad. Reasonably, properly:—ráh ráh díáṇ galláṇ, s. f. Fair words, reasonable language:—ráh rít, s. f. Usage, custom:—ráh ráhaṉ te gáh gahaṉ. When roads remain (untravelled) threshing is done.—Prov. used of the intense heat of the sun:—chíṉá pakke diníṇ paṇjáhíṇ, par je páṉí barse ráhíṇ. Chíṉá ripens in fifty days, if it rain seasonably.
