s. m, n addition of one or two yards to a tháṉ for a child's garment; sweetmeat given for a child, after the parent has concluded a bargain. The Vitex trefolia, Nat. Ord. Verbenaceæ. A bitter and astringent remedy, used in various skin diseases, leprosy, fever, rheumatism and many other complaints.
