s. f. (K.), ) Temper (used generally in the lower Simla hills):—karye ná saṇjh, háṇdye ná maṇjh, khelíye ná júá, ṭapíye ná khúá, thoṛá thoṛá rosh niwdre, uske maṇdar wáre. He who does not form partnerships, he who does not walk in the middle of your field, he who does not gamble, he who does not leap over a well, and he who controls his temper are worthy of respect.—Prov.
