s. f, line, a mark, stripe:—lakír khichchṉá, v. a. To draw a line; to make a boundary; to draw the line across, to strike out:—lakír de pakhír hoṉá, v. n. To be very narrow-minded; to walk on the beaten path, to follow the foot prints of one's ancestors; to be a slave to old customs or rites:—lál lakír, s. f.
