s. m, shrub (Desmodium tiliæfolium, Nat. Ord. Leguminosæ) found abundantly in many places on all the rivers. It is eaten by cattle, the twigs are used for tying loads together. The tough bark is used in making paper and textile materials. The leaves appear to be the shál parṉí of the Bázárs.
