s. m. f, Corrupted from the Sanskrit word Lábh. An advantage, gain, profit, benefit; a silken fabric, fine and thin; an imperative of v. a. Láhaṉá, Láhaṉ; (Poṭ.) the desire of a female cow for the male:—láh áuṉá, v. n. Milk to descend, milk in the teats of a cow, buffalo, &c.:—láh deṉá, láh siṭṭṉá, v. a. See Láhṉá.
