s. f, high wall (of a town), a heap; lame:—laṇg shúr, s. f. A shrub (Juniperus communis, J. Squamata,. Nat. Ord. Coniferæ) which is common in many parts of the Panjab Himalaya, and occurs on the Sutlej and the Bias, where it is used as incense. The wood burns fairly well, and on the passes it is frequently the only fuel obtainable. The berries (háú ber) are used medicinally in the plains, in decoction, being considered stimulant.
