To lengthen, to extend; to permit to go, to dismiss:—lambá, lambe hoṉá, v. n. To be off, to go away; a species of grass (Aristida depressa, A. setacea, Nat. Ord. Gramineæ) is very common in many dry parts of the central and western Panjab and Trans-Indus. It is said to be a favourite food of cattle.
