s. m, The middle, the loins:—lakk bannhṉá, kassṉá, v. a. To gird up one's loins; to arm, to prepare:—lakk khol deṉá, kholṉá, v. n. To throw off one's belt, tights, hence to take one's ease:—lakk kubbá hoṉá, v. n. To be bent (one's back) with a heavy load or old age:—lakk phaṛṉá, v. a. To grip one by the waist; to support, to help:—lakk phaṛ ke uṭṭhṉá, v. a. To become weak, or feeble:—lakk rahi jáṉí, v. n. To have a pain in the loins; to be palsied:—lakk tík, ad.
