s. m, variety of peach or nectarine (Amygdallus persica, Nat. Ord. Rosaceæ) rarely cultivated in the plains and frequently in Afghanistan. The fruit is said to have the property of killing the round worm keṇchwá (Ascaris lumbricoides).
