a, Corrupted from the Sanskrit word Sarvá. All, the whole (used generally in composition):—sarb bhakkhí, s. m. One who eats all sorts of food, no matter by whom prepared:—sarb biápak, sarb biápí, sarb wiápí, a. All-pervading, the all-pervading one, i. e., God:—sarb biddiá, sarb widdiá, s. f. Universally skilled:—sarb pálak, s. m. Universal Nourisher, a title of God:—sarbdá, ad. Always:—sarbdátá, s. m. Universal benefactor (a title of God):—sarbgiáṉ, s. m. Omniscient:—sarb ghás, s. f. The Bupleurum margiatum, Nat. Ord. Umbelliferæ used as a diuretic laxative.
