The very large tuberous yam-like roots are eaten, and are said to be sweet, they are exported to the plains, where they are used as a cooling medicine, and for poultices; i. q. Bidárí kaṇd;—A climber (Dæmia extensa, Nat. Ord. Asclepiadeæ) occasionally found in the Salt Range. It is eaten by goats.
