s. m, The ceremony of weeping and making lamentations for the dead, performed by women:—siáppe di naiṉ, s. f. The barber's wife who directs a company of mourners, met. one who foments quarrel or disunion:—siáppá karná, v. a. To mourn for the dead:—rann gaíṇ, siáppe, duhk rowe ápo ápṉe. When women go to a mourning, each weeps for her own trouble.—Prov.
