The avanturine, of a brown colour with glistening gold particles on the surface:—saṇg Sulemáṉí, s. m. The agate, the onyx. The stone is not used medicinally, but is supposed if worn to keep people at a distance from the wearer and so induce solitude:—saṇg tabak, s. m. A stone similar to Saṇg Abrí, and similarly used:—saṇg yahúdí, s. m. Fossile encrinite.
