s. m, bed of straw; grain out and spread out to dry; a custom which Hindus have of sleeping at least thirteen days in the house of a relative, who has just died:—satthar dá chor, s. m. One who steals from his companion (as from a man who sleeps on the same bed with him):—satthar páuṉá, v. a. To spread out straw for a bed.
